Video Vednesday: Bharadwaj Dayala and his colossal hairy balls

Balls. Testicles. Cojones. Nuts. Nuggets. Gonads. Grapes. Jewels. Call them what you may, they are awesome. Not everybody has a pair, and not all who do put them to good use. I like to think of myself as someone who does, but then I get to meet people, time and again, who make me feel like my rocks haven’t really yet descended into my sack.

Meet Bharadwaj Dayala.

If you are a biker in India, you may already recognize the name. He’s the first Indian to circumnavigate solo around the globe on a Hindustani motorcycle. Bharadwaj Dayala took his humble Hero Honda Karizma on an epic 5 continent, 14 country, 18 month, 47,000 km journey, and that too back in 2006. 

I have no idea how I missed it till now, but here’s a video where he details his adventure and his hardships and his vision and his methods and his insanity and his luck that helped him go on with such a feat. It’s a bit long at roughly 45 minutes, but by the end of it I wished it was longer.

Just yesterday I wrote an article about IBW 2015 and how I would like to be a part of the next Motorcycle Travelers Meet. I knew it would kick ass, but definitely not so much of it! MTM’s Youtube channel is crawling with such videos of travelers talking about their rides, beautiful, exciting, spiritual stories that speak of the universal good in this world.
