Marc Marquez does it, youngest MotoGP world champ!

Marc MarquezAll Marc Marquez had to do was finish fourth, even if Lorenzo won the race in Valencia. The reigning world champion gave it all he had and won the race, but the 20-year-old prodigy finished third and won the world championship by just 4 points! This dude has really left his ‘Marc’ on the MotoGP scene.

He has won the world titles in three different categories. This is his rookie season in MotoGP. He won the most races in a single season as a rookie, six. He is the youngest rider to win four MotoGP races back to back. He broke the record for most wins in the debut season. He also won the BMW M award for most number of poles in the season. Marquez has won more races, accumulated more points, had more pole positions and more fastest laps than any of the greats of the sport managed in their first season.

All of the sport’s greatest are already all praise of the young lad, and for good reason. We hop Marc Marquez’s meteoric rise continues, and so does the entertainment that racing provides to its fans.
