4 Biker Movies to enjoy this weekend for free

It’s been a while since I’ve shared any interesting biker movies to watch. I’ve been into audio books a lot lately, and have finished quite a few. Last week I got bored of them, so went around on a Youtube binge watching spree. Here are the movies that stood out for me, and I hope you enjoy them.

1. One Week

Possibly the weirdest movie I’ve ever seen. It’s realistic in some ways, totally outlandish in others. Makes sense at one point, goes completely crazy at other. The good part about the movie are the actors, I remember the main protagonist from Fringe, the female lead is good too, as are most of the other actors in there.

Can’t say this movie will be to everyone’s taste, but give it a try. It’s the story of a man who just got diagnosed with cancer, and decides to go on a long ride.

2. Ed and Rachel’s freezing ride across Canada

This is not a movie, nor a documentary, it’s whatever Ed March does. I’ve shared his videos before, and this one is special in many ways. Not only do you get to watch him go on expletive-laden rants towards stupid people, you also see the good side of humanity.

The idea behind the ride seems simple enough, why not ride across a fucking frozen Canada in the middle of the fucking winter, when most people are either indoors or flying around on snowmobiles. I don’t need to tell you about Ed’s story-telling skills, or Rachel’s insane sense of humour. See it for yourself.

3. Adam Reimman’s adventures with the KTM 1190R

Yep, it’s the same guy who made the Motonomad movies, and lately he’s been riding around Australia, flicking around the 1 tonne 1190R like it’s a malnutritioned schoolgirl.

The entire fun of this series is watching him ride the bike, and do things with it/to it that you didn’t think were possible. His videography skills are well-known, and he uses his talents well, both with the camera and the bike.

This series is ongoing, so keep an eye out for future additions.

4. Red Bull Hare Scramble

I’ve been very interested in off-roading of late, so much so that my 390 with Metzelers and hardened suspension has seen far more dirt than it deserves to, or is capable of. Hare Scramble, or the Erzberg Rodeo, is probably the most insane thing on two wheels, and it’s great fun to watch.

It’s basically a marathon, except the part where the track is trying its best to kill you. I’m no fan of Red Bull, their cough-syrup flavoured piss doesn’t agree with my senses, but they do know where to put all the sugar-water money to produce insane adventures with some great footage.
